DIR Floortime 101 Courses

DIR Floortime is a transdisciplinary, developmental approach to social and emotional development. It harnesses the power of play to support children, teens, and adults in developing skills that underpin their development and relationships. DIR Floortime is the approach behind much of my clinical work. It meets the client where they are, honours their individuality, and focuses on shared experience rather than task based learning. DIR Floortime is suitable for use across all populations but has been particularly successful in supporting Autistic clients.

As a DIR Expert Training Leader, I am delighted to be offering 101 courses. This course is approved by ICDL, a leading trainer in DIR Floortime. Run over the course of 12 hours (which may be split into several sessions), participants will be introduced to the DIR model and Floortime intervention. Successful completion of this course allows participants to enrol in ICDL’s 201 course - Basic Certificate.
